Installing Dubuffet at the Barbican with remote courier technology
The Barbican's 2021 Dubuffet exhibition plans were hugely disrupted by Covid-19, but use of innovative remote courier technology enabled installation of multiple, prestigious international loans. Exhibition organiser Tatjana LeBoff, and paintings conservator, Joanna Shepard, discuss the technical research and set-up, and the practical experience of this approach. The benefits of this approach going forward include improved sustainability and cost reductions.
This discussion took place on Wednesday 23rd March 2022 at 12pm as part of London Art Fair's online talks programme.
