Disappearing Nine Patch
Join Wendy Gardiner, teacher, author and occasional TV presenter to learn this simple patchwork technique. It looks impressive but is deceptively easy to achieve so is a great project for those new to patchwork as you use simple squares joined with minimal patch matching required.
Wendy will guide you step-by-step to create a nine-patch block, she’ll then reveal how to cut and turn this into the impressive Disappearing Nine Patch. Once you’ve mastered the technique, you will be reaching for fabric scraps to make more. Turn them into cushion covers or bags, add different blocks and make a quilt. This is a great stepping-stone to trying more patchwork variations and really getting to grips with patchwork!
