Punch Needlework for Beginners
Discover the art of Punch Needle embroidery: a style which uses a hollow needle to punch through the fabric to form loops. This technique creates an effect similar to a hooked rug, developing an interesting design and exciting texture to your art.
In this masterclass leading embroiderer and author, Lucy Rowan, teaches you how to use the punch needle and create this beautiful botanical hoop art. You’ll master how to stretch your fabric and transfer the design, how to combine different yarns so you can create different effects and textures and how to finish off.

I liked the pacing of the session. I thought it was as good as a ‘real world’ session and lost nothing by being in the virtual world.

I learned a new technique which was very clearly described and I feel that I can now continue this craft on my own.
