Goldwork Mini 3D Bumble Bee
Well-known embroidery artist, designer and tutor, Georgina Bellamy, will guide you through the process of creating this cute mini 3D goldwork bumblebee. Through using pad work to create a 3D stump-work shape, applying pearl purl, cutwork and using metal threads, otherwise known as ‘chipping’, you will have a 3D goldwork mini bumblebee of your own!

Materials You Will Need
Please note these materials are not included with purchase of this class, the following materials will need to be bought separately.
- Gold pearl purl 1
- Thick Felt 4 x 4cm square
- Thin Felt 4 x 4cm square
- Thin white Felt 2 x 2cm square
- Jewellery wire – 15cm
- Gold purl
- Black metal purl
- Silver check purl
- 4 inch embroidery hoop
- Organza – enough to fill a 10cm (4 inch) hoop
- Beading needle
- Embroidery scissors

Georgina Bellamy is a noted embroidery artist, designer and tutor from London, England. Her work has been featured on British Television, in many popular textile magazines and books. She has exhibited and taught all over Europe, her last exhibition being with the popular ‘Knitting and Stitching’ shows last year.
