Our Sustainability Commitment
We are committed to reducing the impact we have on our environment whilst continuing to provide the products, services and events which create happiness and fulfilment for our audiences.
But in order to do so, we need a habitable world. Our sustainability work sits within all our values and as an events business we have joined isla, a not for profit organisation founded as the event industry’s response to the climate crisis. It brings together expertise from across the entire events sector, provides resources and training and has developed tools and a carbon calculator to support and deliver industry-wide standardisation and best practice on sustainable practices. Through facilitation and collaboration, education and reporting, isla drives to share knowledge, upskill the industry and track progress to affect change rapidly and meaningfully, across the events industry.
Joining isla requires businesses to put in place very tangible and measurable steps to demonstrate its commitment to continued improvement and we look forward to drawing on isla’s expertise and knowledge to help us on our journey to become one of the greenest events producers in the UK.
How can you help as a visitor to our events?
Carbon Offset Donation
As part of our commitment to reducing the impact we have on the environment, we are working hard to reduce the carbon footprint on all our events. As part of this process, we give every visitor the chance to make a voluntary donation to Ecologi to offset part of their journey to an event at the point of booking.

Here you can also help Immediate Live increase our impact with a gift donation towards tree-planting and carbon avoidance projects – a donation of just £6 will fund a clump of 25 trees.

Ecologi is a social enterprise who only fund carbon offsetting projects which meet the highest verification standards, such as Gold Standard or Verified Carbon Standard.
Any donations, along with direct investment from Immediate Live, will be placed in certified carbon offset projects that reduce the quantity of greenhouse gases entering the atmosphere. Projects include investment in renewable energy to replace use of fossil fuels, and conservation or humanitarian projects (e.g. providing clean water access).
