Tunisian Crochet: Basics and Beyond
Discover the art of Tunisian Crochet, a technique used to create a distinctive woven texture. It is worked on a long hook with a stopper on the end to enable the stitches to stay on the hook.
During this masterclass Diana Bensted will guide you to start, make Tunisian simple stitch, Tunisian knit and purl stitches, teach you how to use these in combination for a honeycomb stitch, and how to finish off. These techniques will enable you to make the pair of mitts from the pattern provided with confidence.
This masterclass is perfect for those who are interested in starting Tunisian crochet or those who have tried before and would like to go further than a simple stitch. To undertake this masterclass you should be able to hold a crochet hook and yarn and make a chain and double crochet.
